DESCRIPTION

ISPAN™ * Gas is a surgical aid for use in the treatment of uncomplicated retinal detachment by pneumatic retinopexy or in the context of vitreoretinal surgery as intraocular tamponade. It is used in the form of an intravitreal injection for selected retinal breaks and to aid in resorption of subretinal fluid. Associated measures used include transconjunctival and transcleral cryotherapy and laser photo coagulation.
